The reason we choose this island again was for the house reef and it did not disappoint, we had the opportunity to experience Ray's, ..."Turtles and Sharks on a daily basis and it is fantastic to see the reef really growing back and the colours of the coral, this is down to the conscious efforts made by the resort to protect this natural environment. The staff at the resort are really friendly and go out of their way to help, we choose to stay in a standard room has these are best located for the beach and the access to the reef. Bandos surprised us all the way through our stay for being loyal customers, this started with wine and fruit in the room, then a discount on all drinks and food purchased to finally upgrading us to a water villa with free wi fi ( to the delight of my husband ).   "We stayed at laid back Bandos in May. We had the cool polynesian style thatch roofed two storied room facing the narrow beach. There's plenty to do here even during monsoon time with a big gym area, video room, pools, indoor badminton and squash courts or even watersports or diving. The food buff..."et is excellent, especially if you want to venture for the local and Indian cuisine. The Koon Thai restaurant is a must. We ate on the deck by the sea under the stars and the candlelight dinner was just delicious. Shame we couldn't finish it all! The west side sundowner bar has a nice little beach with access to the most amazing snorkelling. We had our cocktails brought on the beach after our swim with the astounding sea life and have had lunch there a few times, mainly salads, sanwiches, burgers, etc. Nice place to catch the sunset and play the funny and entertaining crab race for plenty of drinks as prize money!!! :) The nightlife is pretty good here.   "Marvellous as Usual"
  "We traveled to Bandos during the easter holidays 2013 for 10 nights. This was our 5th visit to Bandos (we have also visited Kurumba and the Sun Island, Bandos is still our favourite). As usual we were delighted with the holiday. We always go B & B, which gives us the freedom to eat in the Sea B..."reeze and Sundowners, which are both very good. We thought this year that the variety of food available at both of these was much improved. I agree the main gallery restaurant is very busy and can be a bit like a canteen which is also why we always opt for B & B (although there is always a hugh amount of food to choose from) We had booked two deluxe rooms as traveled with our two sons (aged 19 & 13). On arrival we were offered an upgrade to two garden villas (by pool) at no extra charge. They were lovely and as our youngest son loves the pool, they were in a great position.
