It has an enormous garden (and field) behind the house where our children enjoyed using the trampoline, climbing frame, swings, and sand box. They also enjoyed just running through the expanse of grass and trees that border the field. We used the home's patio on many occasions for drinks and barbecues. The center of the hamlet of Les Carres has a jeu de boules pitch, which is charming and only a few minutes' walk from the house. It made a nice destination when walking with our 2-year-old.
