  "My husband and I stayed in BLBR for 9 days in the beachfront villa #5 mid April from 13 till 22. We chose not to waste time on transfer so we flew with the Turtle Airways and it took us about 30 minutes to get to BLBR. We were so impressed with the clarity of the warm blue water and amazing corals..." right outside of our villa. We spent most of our time snorkeling and feeding the fish, activity i highly recommend as there are so many variety of tropical fish i have never seen live and so close and eating bread out of my hand! The staff is absolutely awesome and so friendly, they speak good english and never frown! Big thanks to Philip at the bar for making such wonderful cocktails for my husband Eugene!! Also thankS Marika in the office, Ala for being so great in the dining room, Luka for his kind communication! The Chef who cooked for our lunch large Snapper we caught on one of many fishing trips!   "WOW....WOW....yep WOW"
  "Myself and 2 teenage daughters (13 & 15) stayed in Beachfront Villa 5 (26 April-1 May) so just after the reviewer below. We took the Yasawa Flyer up and back and booked the Captains Lounge. This cost $800FJD return (1 Adult, 2 Children). Children must be 14 and older for Captains lounge access ..."so if asked their age just fib a little. The trip was rather uneventful up and just before the second stop off before BLBR we went into the bridge and chatted with the Captain as we were the only ones left in the lounge area. Captain Thomas was fantastic and let the girls sit in the Captains chair while travelling to our stop. With a quick goodbye from him and a see you next Wednesday we transferred to the BLBR boat. On the boat trip to the resort we were then "checked in" by Vatili who gave details of everyones room / bed number, meal times etc. One improvement here would to have a hand out flyer as the info can be a bit to remember.   "My time at Blue Lagoon was incredibly relaxing! The white sandy beach is beautiful and it's nice to know that you can just snorkel straight off the beach at your leisure. The food is delicious (unfortunately most resort food in Fiji is average, but Blue Lagoon is definitely the exception) and the st..."aff (as always in Fiji) are friendly and accommodating. The cave trip is definitely worth it if you aren't scared of deep water!! The accommodation itself is lovely and all bures are close to the beach and the restaurant. Being a smaller resort than for example Plantation Island, means you enjoy a more quiet day on the beach and you don't need to fight for beach chairs! " More >
