Though the beach is a 5 mins walk from the hotel but I liked the calm, quite and lush green ambience of the..." surrounding area. Moreover the main beach area was crowded enough and not a good choice to stay with family.We had a comfortable stay here. I booked 3 rooms from kolkata office. The check in was smooth. The restaurant was under construction the food was served in the room. Quality of food was okay.The overall experience was good. I would like to visit hotel royal bengal whenever I go to digha.   "Spent 2 nights here with my family. Its a nice place, clean, big rooms, basic furnishing. Ample car park available. beach is 2-3 mins walk away and is good for a swim. The food is also really nice bengali food. We got stuck here in a terrible storm but the staff helped us in all way they could.
