We went on a long good friday weekend, almost first to reach on the day. It was looking like deserted old palace, made of red sandstone in early morning in last week of ..."March. When we moved to the villa, it was symbol of peace and serenity. We had a lawn facing villa. It provided great view of the lawn. It's certainly one of the best lawn in a hotel I've ever seen. in the lawn, there are lots of peacocks and birds in the morning and evening. Room was large, had a separate living room, completed with a very large bathroom and a splash pool in the courtyard inside the villa. Villas are new construction with old charm while palace is old construction with modern amenities. Food was great with varied choices. Service was excellent without giving a feel of intrusion. A visit to Chambal river is must if it's not hot. Chambal river safari is nice, one can see ... " More >

  "Very relaxing stop over, fantastic experience"
  "This was the last stop over of our 2000 Kms road trip in Rajasthan. We had reached here after a long drive of 450Kms and the moment we reached here we forgot how tired we were. Very impressed with the expanse of the property. Kids had the run of the place. At that time we were the only family there ..."apart from a foreign film crew. Kids had lots of fun in the attached pool of the cottage even though it was not fully filled. The service was excellent, the people fulfilled every wish of my kids – be it multiple rounds of ice cream, etc. Over all it was a royal experience indeed. We plan to return there for a longer stay.
