We rented a boat and putted around the lake. I booked ahead and got us a cabin with a bathroom and shower in it so..." that was great to have and gave a whole different feel to camping. The road up there is pretty (like, VERY) bumpy so make sure you have a good vehicle, and most of the cabins are very old (which I think is charming) ,but some people wont like. If you bring your sense of adventure and your admiration of the Great North strong and free I think youll have a great time.
