  "This is the 1st destination of our Kashmir tour and I go on trip advisor reviews and book Rah Vilas. This hotel is 12km before Sonmarg on the Srinagar-Sonmarg Highway at Kullan,a small village. It is located on the opposite site of the river and so very nice and peaceful location. Once you enter the..." hotel lobby- you will say "wow" - cause you didn't expect this type of luxury in Kashmir tour. Check in is so fast. Room interior and view from balcony excellent. They have central heating system but not working. They provide electric blanket and heater. Staff was very helpful and ready to serve you. Particularly Mr.Tanveer was helping the guests very much. The man on the counter Mr.Sheikh was too rude and egoistic in his behaviour. Food was excellent and the chef personally ask each one what they want and made good food.   "The hotel is old, not so good infrastructurally but it is so near to the peak (glacier) that you cant be in the room. Even during month of May we found snow in the compund of hotel. (name of hotel is hotel alpine). This glacier is known as Thajwas.
