Nothing much changed here over the last few hundred years! The rooms are specious, clean and with very fine views. The reception staff are very helpful and delightfully accommodating. It's not a place to go to for the food - breakfast and dinner are unexciting, though there is always a good fish option for dinner and they offer to cook your own fish for a small price.
