We checked in with a warm welcome and all questioned answered. Enjoyed a lovely meal with again excellent staff and had a good nights sleep...". The rooms although a bit dated are clean and comfortable. A good breakfast in the morning and then sadly it was time to go. We will be back and are looking forward to seeing all the staff again.   "We have stayed at the hotel twice now whilst visited relatives in the area. Once was on New Year's Eve and once on a Saturday night. On both occasions, we were treated to fantastic evening entertainment. On NYE we had a gala dinner with bubbly and a meal in the restaurant on the Sat. Both were e..."xcellent, as was the full English breakfast in the morning. We have also had Sunday lunch in this hotel many times and it has always been good and plentiful! Rooms are a bit dated in decor but spotlessly clean with everything you need including tea/coffee, toiletries, comfy beds and a TV, although I doubt if anyone would want to watch the TV with such excellent entertainment on offer! We had a very good night's sleep on both occasions, which is the most important thing to us! Staff are laid-back and friendly, giving it a home from home feel. Prices are good, too.
