The breakfast was perfect, Italian style with Juices bread, jam, nuttella, pastries and lots of fruit & homemade Pizza. He has a top notch coffe machine too. Gianlucca was very accomodating, he showed us into town and reccommended places to eat and shop and beaches to visit. You do need to rent a can or scooter to get a round Elba, Scooters are best as parking is restricted but check you have insurance as most hire places on elba only offer 3rd party. I think Marina di Campo is the best place to be situated as its in the middle if the island on the south side and has a really quaint and classy feel to the town and a large sand beach. It's situated away from the crowds, yet at the same time, within a few minutes walk away from..." the center and sea. Its quiet, tranquil, and serene from early morning to evening. Lucca, who runs the place, is a kind and generous soul who is ever ready to help and guide his guests. This family run agroturismo makes you feel like you're one of the family. Surrounded by orchards of fruit trees and bird song, my husband and four year old daughter and I found it hard to leave! Although the amenities are simple, it is clean and all that is needed is available, including a kitchen and outdoor patio to dine and hang out on.
