The view is phenomenal and the design of the hotel is as 5 star as any we have stayed at. Greg, the owner is charming. Maureen, the manager is lovely too as are the rest of the staff.   "We took a bus from Quito to Canoa yesterday a very long bus ride about 9 hours. We grabbed a taxis in Bahie and went to the Sundown inn. The taxi driver unloaded our baggage and the people from the inn brought the luggage up which is when I noticed my insulin bag was missing. This unsettled me sin..."ce I had almost 3 boxes of medicine. The owner, Juan drove to town, went to the pharmacy to see if they had the same insulin package. The following afternoon again the owner drove me to town, explained to the pharmacist and I bought 3 pens. On the way back the owner's father in law had driven to town and was looking for us. The taxi driver came to the inn and dropped off my bag. The owner, Juan Carlos was very helpful and went out of his way to assist. we had a good experience at the Inn, friendly and helpful people, right next to the beach, accommodations were clean. I would recommend the Inn to anyone who doesn't have expectations of a Hilton experience. my only negative was the WIFI... " More >
