If your diving 3 dives a day from the early morning what else do you want to do but dive, eat, and sleep and the schedule they have is perfect for diving. The accommodations were good, the food good except when they do the weekly grill out which was the best meal we had there. I highly recommend staying at least a week as the standard package is not long enough. Every one from the resort manager to the housekeeping staff were very friendly and allways around to help out.   "My friends and I booked a 5D4N diving package with Avillion Resort at Palau Layang Layang for Easter weekend. I missed my connecting flight from Kota Kinabalu to the Resort due to adverse weather in Hong Kong. The next available flight was two days later. I was saddened by fact that I would miss ..."half of my package. I couldn’t be happier when the Resort postponed my package until my arrival at Layang. The people at the Resort were super friendly. They were always around to help. The Resort offered a large selection of food in local and western cuisine. Consider the Resort had to fly everything in from KK, I didn’t mind paying RM10 for a can of ice cold Tiger. However, the Resort did not offer my favorite drink Coke Light. Apart from food and beverages, the Resort offered free WiFi in the common area as it was a good way to kill time in between dives. After landed we were direct to the main dining hall for check in and short briefing about the resort and the dive center. It was quick and simple. After got our keys we entered to our room. The staff at avillion was so nice and friendly. Room was so so. Nothing much, that i expect after reading the review from the trip TripAdvisor. Yes the price we paid not cheap compare to other dive site. It could be better in improve the facilities. Room were old, sofa was torn with cigarettes burn.
