More

I've been to this Hotel everytime I'm in town. I really like it. The Hotel is located just aside of the lake and is really nice relax on the garden sitting in front of the lake. The rooms are not so big, but clean and really confortables. I always really appreciatedj the food prepared in the inside restaurant. The owner... More

Nicely located, 10-year old Victorian style B&B with a disappointing cuisine. The Beaujolais was served at fridge temperature, the appetizer was a terrine of lamb and cranberry that you could have bought at the local supermarket, the braised veal was not braised at all! I got 2 slices of yesterday's veal roast in a brown steak sauce, served with nice... More

Being an Anglo with high school French may not have helped - but even though the client we were meeting there was a francophone from the Eastern Townships himself they still weren't very welcoming. Arrived in a spring blizzard & the very steep driveway down to the B & B on the lake hadn't been plowed so getting down there... More

The place is great and I mean, Lac-Megantic is such a beautiful little village. The thing with Les Victorines is, it could be a very great place where to stay. But the owner makes it become something different.. Before the new owners, we loved to stay there. It's charming and the old owners were lovely and very caring about their... More

I am Swiss, traveled extensively but never had such a rude and unwelcoming experience as at the Victorines. My French Canadian friends felt ashamed by very condescending attitude of the staff. We had to pay for breakfast even though the website says it's included in price. They served us two orders of 'Eggs Benedickt' on ONE plate!!!! If my friends... More

We have just got back from a weekend at Les Victorines located on Lac Megantic, this is a beautiful region if you like nature. The hotel is well located pulled back from the road directly on the lake. It is charming and romantic and very very quiet. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean but a little small. We had... More
