The service sucked, the manager was no help and should be replaced with anyone. the garage smelled like raw sewage.....no towels....the remote did not work for the aged TV's.......the air conditioning made a banging sound when turned on.......beautiful Island. oh ya hows this "my key worked in my friends room" safty first. more

The Wyndham Sapphire is in a nice location. Although there is no beach at the hotel, it is in walking distance to Cupecoy and Mullet Bay and 5 minutes to Long Beach, Bay of Prunes and Bay Rouge. We stayed here for 6 days, and never saw the Wyndham name on anything, not even the front of the building. This resort was probably very nice many years ago, but no longer. We have travelled to St. Maarten for the last10 years and have never stayed in a worse place. Never again..... management never seems to be available to address problems or concerns such as poor maintenance in rooms, substandard furnishings, and poor customer service. I'd stayed 3 nights with a special rate : 99 $/night !!!!. very big room, nice seaview, good location and a private spa on the balcony .....what else can you expect for the rate !!!!! Just waiting to go back..... more

The location was great...next to several beaches, restaurants, casinos (night life) and shops. The rooms were cleaned and maid service was every other day. What i liked most was that the villa was very spacious. With 6 travelers there was more than adequate space for each to not feel confined more

The Wyndham's location worked out great for us, because we are nature lovers. The cliffs and the beach are walking distance away. Philipsburg is closeby too. If you don't drive on the right side of the road, or prefer to travel by bus, it's very easy.....just hop on the bus outside the hotel, but be sure and tell the driver... more
