We stayed at Hotel Alpina following an extended stay in Vals. We had been staying at the Therme but due to the short notice of our stay, the Therme was fully booked so we were recommended the Hotel Alpina. We love Vals. Even if it's several hours away from home, the beautiful thermal baths will still drive us there for a week-end. And what better place to stay there than the beautiful Alpina? If you are interested in architecture / design and want to visit Peter Zumthor's Therme at Vals, you might want to consider staying at the Hotel Alpina instead.
