I was compelled to go to that hotel, as it was the only one with a room left during a busy week in Brussels. The neighborhood is unsafe, and that is a fact. Also, it is very dirty, it looks nothing like the rest of beautiful Brussels. The Hotel is in a very, very old building, reception is dirty, the... More

Firstly, make sure you know how to get here without asking around. Reason being, the hotel is located in a rather dodgy turkish quarters and not really very popular. We kept getting wrong directions from asking around, and ended up walking with our 70L packs uphill for about 2km. To get to the hotel, take tram no. 55 from Gare... More

We booked this hotel through tripsta, it is without doubt the worst hotel we have ever in our life stayed in. Filthy, stained sheet, dirty filthy bathroom, the bedroom smelt like a sewer, the staff were very intimidating to women, why these booking agents are still classing it as a hotel is beyond me. There should be some way of... More

All hotels in Brussels below 200 EUR were unavailable, so I ended in this nightmere... Dirty, unfriendly, avoid it. More

as a matter of fact, the first impression entering the hotel was enough not to go to the room - the place is messy and not clean, the staff is also not friendly (the guy answered only those my questions he liked, for the rest of them he simply pretended not understanding English), cancellation policy is another issue to talk... Brussels can be a nightmare when you arrive at a "wrong date" - that was why I ended up at this poor hotel booked through www.hotels.nl. It is my worst experience so fare. On top I was invoiced Euro 150 for one night (normal price Euro 45). I survived but I am still suffering!!! More

I was alone so it was OK. The area is an old area, inhabited by emigrants. Infactionality is high, a car was broke in the middle of day in front of the hotel. I had no problems, even if I came back later. The breakfast is a joke, the staff is with no manners, etc. More

everything was too small, the double bed was actually for one person and the lift was big enough for one baggage!! you cannot find the breakfast room without going upstairs and downstairs following only the smell because there are not posters or signs! the staff come from India I think and it is very friendly but they could work better... La Potiniere Hotel Brussels Booked through Rates To Go (part of HotelClub) When I booked this hotel online my estimated time of arrival was Midnight 03-Dec. Due to travel problems I arrived at 6am 04-Dec. When I arrived the hotel had cancelled my reservation and given my room to someone else. They could not even bothered to try to find... More

We have booked this hotel thru one of the hotel booking website. It was listed as 'Recommended Hotel' at this website. Under room description, it was mentioned that rooms were renovated in 2004/2005. But....all was a white lie. Location was very bad as its next to the red light area. Reception smells like toilet. Rooms was very old & look... More
