I stayed at I Tre Baroni with my girldfriend a year ago and I still remember the hotel and the friendly staff as it was yesterday. So I would say that this is a good sign! The Hotel is kept very well organised and has a beautiful view over the surrounding valley. It lays very quietly on the top of... More

We spent one night in this hotel situated approximately 4 kilometers from Camaldoli. We had a wonderful room with a fantastic vue. The staff members were very friendly and we appreciated a great hospitality. Particulary Martha as manager of the reception has been very kind to us. She even made possible that we could see via Skype a champion league... More

Lovely location with fantastic food and friendly people, what more could you ask for? My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Resort I Tre Baroni and are already planning our next trip back. The highlights would have to be the views of Poppi from the poolside, the fantastic food and service, and our lovely split level room which... More

This past August we had the opportunity to visit Italy for 3 weeks. After an action packed week in Rome, Pompei and Cortona we decided a few days of rest and relaxation (and some hiking) would be nice before we went on to Florence and Tuscany. I am not sure how I found Tre Baroni as I was not looking... More

We spent 5 nights here in this charming hotel, greeted by Marta on reception, an absolute whizz of a young woman, highly articulate, knowledgable, amusing and attractive. Food was good, wines excellent with everything under the control of Luigi, the maitre'd and his very able, efficient and charming colleague Ramona. Room very comfortable. More

We have been visiting Italy for over 50 years (relatives etc etc) stayed in all accommodation levels from camp sites, to Relais Chateaux. Just when you think Italy could not render any more surprises, up pops another delight! This small very well run hotel is perfect for 'getting away from it all;, superb food (I would defy Michael Winner to... More

The service and restaraunt were outstanding. HOWEVER, I travelled by bus from Florence. I was dropped off at Point au Poppi station which is not close to the resort. I managed to catch a shuttle service to the resort, which was approx. 20 mins out of Poppi. The room was at best average. Wifi (5 euros for 24 hrs) did... More

Finally writing my review for I Tre Baroni following our wedding there in July 2010. For one weekend in July we had the run of the hotel for our wedding with about 70 guests from Ireland. All the staff did their utmost to fulfill every request we had (e.g. having breakfast from 9 until 11am so people could get a... More

Very quiet place if you want to get away from it all. Fantastic view over Poppi and the castle that is lit at night. Andrea and family very friendly and helpful despite our aussie accents!! Rooms very clean and comfortable. Good value for money and would definately stay there again. More
