“Great Halfway Point”

Driving from Melbourne to Newcastle, this was the perfect stopover point. The service was outstanding. We stayed in the Riesling Room (wonderful double spa) which was well appointed. On arrival, the complimentary canapes and glass of wine were welcomed, along with our pre-ordered platters (delicious!). The food was outstanding, great value for money, we would definitely stay here again.

“Dog-friendly and helpful hosts”

This is a dog-friendly hotel, which is a rare find in this part of Australia. The surroundings are pretty, the rooms are fine, breakfast is excellent, and the hosts are very helpful. One of the nicest things about staying here is the wine and nibbles at 6pm, and having dinner on the terrace, watching the sun go down.

We were late to check in as we were at a function- Evelyn called to make sure we were ok and greeted us warmly when we arrived. We stayed here for two nights last weekend. What a relaxing comfortable and delicious stay. We stayed in the Shiraz room, king size bed double spa views of the countryside. The sunset was amazing.
