I recently went to Karkala, Karnataka for a week. My experience about the Hotel Suhag was terrible. The reception staff does not care about the people walking in and is either clueless about hospitality or is least bothered. My recommendation is try to avoid it with your family. However bachelors can manage if nothing else is available.
