Had to arrange accommodation in a hurry to sort out a funeral. Marcus offered us his "honeymoon cottage" at a great rate. This was ideal because we had to bring our little King Charles spaniel and having the cottage meant that we could come and go without disturbing anyone. Stayed at DWL just before Christmas. My choice of time for breakfast (07.30) was unacceptable since the person dealing with me had an appointment elsewhere. Agreed 07.00. Arrived downstairs at 0.655, hotel deserted, car park empty, only 'emergency' lighting on. I got the impression that I'd been left locked in on my own overnight. On September 2nd i got married here. I have to say i cannot thank Marcus and his staff enough for everything they did for us.
