We stayed for some nights with extended family. The hotel is very consistent in promoting sustainable economy such as by offering local food. The hiking/trekking arena around Zugspitze is right at your doorstep, so although we didn't do too much of that I can see the hotel being your base for extended tours. More

I can't fault this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortably furnished, the owner family and their staff are pleasant and helpful.
