We had stayed at this guest house whilst under previous management and it was convenient to do so again due to a family visit. Talbot house has a delightful teashop. The sun was shining the day we arrived and we had afternoon tea in the interesting garden situated behind the main house. The service was very friendly and the scones, cream and were generous in portion. The other cakes on the menu sounded yummy too. Well worth a visit. More

Owner friendly enough but the room was straight out of the 70's. furniture and fittings missmatched and of poor quality. One memorable eyesore was the toilet cistern overflow pipe directed straight back into the pan, very strange.
