I did a lot of reearch before visiting the lodge and ended up being very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and the whole experience whilst there I did not expext 5* luxury but our room was adequately designed with basic facilities which added to the whole ambience of where we were Tours were interesting and our quide 'Yuris' was excellent!... I wrote a 900 word blog post about our experience here last year. You can find it here: http://www.thankful101.com/2012/04/29/amazon-ecopark-jungle-lodge/ As other reviewers have noted, Ecopark Jungle Lodge may not appeal to the traveler who is accustomed to being pampered. Do your research and understand where you are going and what you are getting into. It was just enough adventure for... More

The first thing we liked about this lodging was they set up tours/activities for you, so you will not get bored. There is no tv or internet... but remember, you are in the Amazon! The rooms were rustic (think cabins at United States National Parks), but they were air conditioned. The buffet food was good (one night was much better... More

It amazed us how many people were complaining about the place while we were there. Did they not do any research before they booked their trip? Apparently not. This is the Amazon, not the Pantanal. You're going to see an amazing diversity of plant life...if you want all the crazy animals, go to the Pantanal, not the Amazon. Also...if you... More

This is a special place to see and experience nature. Rooms were rustic but acceptable where you could use AC or leave wood shutters open and listen to the night sounds. Food was okay and slightly better than typical business buffets. No internet is offer and one manager said no and another let me use their computer to check emails... More

Stayed for three nights at the end of February, as part of an all inclusive package. The cabins were very basic but clean. No TV or Internet available in the rooms or in the resort. Buffet meals were good and plentiful. Tours by guides was average especially the fishing which done at a floating restaurant, with little hope of catching... More

Buyer beware! Our biggest complaint with the room was the holes at the bottem of the door frame where spidors, cockroaches and various other creatures entered our room. I realize we are in the jungle, but would expect more room maintance to be done considering the high price of the room. Meals were average at best... breakfast was not kept... More

Visited this resort as a side trip from a cruise up the Amazon. We were disappointed with the experience. Lodge accommodation OK, after all it is in the jungle! However we felt that we were part of conveyor belt tourism. Our guide carried out his duties to the minimum. Our piranha fishing was from a floating restaurant... not what we... More

As this lodge is in the middle of the jungle outside Manaus, one should NOT expect 5 star lodging. It was clean and functioning but getting pretty shabby. Not sure when it opened but the mildew and rust is certainly taking over. And they aren't able to handle the number of guests they have. Our 2nd day we got bathmats... More
