I was looking for a one night stay near Stonehaven and this place was perfect. The double en suite bedroom was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Overall a very nice place to stay and Patrice and Alan made me feel very welcome. More

We usually prefer hotels to B&Bs but chose to stay here for a night en route to the ferry to Shetland. Our hosts, Patrice and Alan, had the balance just right between friendliness and the over-intrusiveness which I dislike about some B&Bs. We were given two rooms in a cottage, the family room was huge and both really comfortable; plenty of room outside with garden table and chairs we could use to plan the day. Breakfast was in the main house, there was plenty of choice and all was nice. Also cards are accepted for payment which is not always the norm... More

An excellent B&B located a couple of miles out of Stonehaven, the hosts were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. You NEED a car to get to this, I didn't see any buses and its apparently a 45min walk - so all you hippie-environmentalists who don't/can't drive - you'd better stay elsewhere. Room was very comfortable (non ensuite, but private bathroom... More
