I stayed here at the tail-end of last year. Stonehaven harbour is picturesque and with the Ship Inn on the edge of it, there is no better play to stay. The room was more than adequate, nicely decorated, and a clean bathroom. No objections. The bar/ pub is good, with a range of ales and plenty of whisky. More

The Ship is a lovely hotel, with great food, in a gorgeous location. What more can you ask for at the end of a long day. The guest beers are also good and the staff pleasant and helpful This is the sort of thing which will make me book again. More

i stayed at the ship inn at stonehaven aberdeenshire it was a late booking and its really is a lovely place you can see that it has recently been updates they are building also more rooms on at the back the room looked out to sea and fantastic standard food excellent i was hoping for more more fish on menu... I don't think you can do much better in Stonehaven than the Ship Inn : outstanding location, well run, nice bar and great food. My only gripe is that the rooms are too full of the wrong type of furniture and so can feel unnecessarily cramped. Fresh orange juice at breakfast would be nice too. More
