After a cold, wet day on our bicycles arriving here to find a great bike shed, good drying facilities, a decent shower, a spacious, well equipped kitchen, spectacular views and a spacious comfy bedroom, we were very happy. One minor detail, our bedroom, as well as some (all?) others don't have any mains sockets to make recharging gadgets simple.

One of the best hostels we have ever stayed. It was right on the bank of Loch Ness and you could actually walk on the pebble waterside. It was also convenient for us who travel by public transportation, because there were bus stops to/from Inverness in front of the hostel. The staff were friendly and they kindly offered to upgrade... The best view you could hope for from your bedroom window! The room was dated and a bit musty but the guys on reception were very friendly and I loved the fresh flowers on all the tables in the dining area. It's a bit away from the centre of things so I would only recommend if you have a car.

This hostel was better than the average youth hostel. There are two main buildings, I stayed in the one right on the Loch with the most amazing views out over it.
