An ethnic village ambience tastefully recreated with good service and multi- cuisine food albeit vegetarian fare (plus eggs). While food is a bit costlier than the normal fare in the pilgrimage circuit, it is at a 3 star pricing only. Overall, an oasis in a temple visiting tour.

Been here thrice, as everybody points out it brings forth a true rural atmosphere to the stay. Very warm and friendly staff. With cowsheds, spotted deer roaming freely, temple pond like swimming pool, rooms with heavy locks, high bed with heavy wooden frames, real bells instead of electric bells .. the list just grows to take you back in time...... A really good resort and we stayed there for 2 days. The resort gives us the childhood remembrance of old antique clocks, switches and telephone which are the highlights of the resort. As a complimentary, breakfast can be provided along with the stay. The common breakout wash area can be well maintained.

The place is slightly out of kumbakonam (5km) but set in a quaint village setting. The rooms are not very spacious but provide sufficient comfort. A really nice place. Very authentic middle of the village. Traditional hospitality. Really cool. Only down side is limited rooms and gets booked soon. Always have to book in advance. Another drawback IS no much site seeing except Thanjavur
