The reason I choose Kumar Palace is because it was one of the best hotel near Thenmala (Thenmala is a touriest place near Kollam). Thenmala is a ecopark with lot of activities there.
The hotel room was good, reception was also good. But the quality of food and the service of the kitchen was pathetic.
The reason you get everytime is that we do not have appropriate number of staff in the kitchen. They dont even have separate kitchen for veg and non veg. The wait time for serving the food is more than 40 mins. And at times you can also find pieces of bones in pure veg dishes.

Kumar Palace is a three star classified Leisure hotel in Punalur, Kollam. It is the nearest hotel from Thenmala eco tourism and Palaruvi water falls.
