Stayed 2 nights and can honestly say that I had a better sleep at the Travelodge the night previous to my 2 at Cranage. First impressions were fantastic, lovely looking old building (but the accommodation is bolted onto the back to make it a quadrangle that leaves you completely disorientated when getting around from room to dining room to conference... As I was only at Cranage Hall for a matter of 10 hours I will only comment on the level of service and facilities experienced during my very short stay. A late evening check-in (22:00hrs) followed by similarly early check-out (08:00hrs) were both curteous and efficient with no problems encountered. My standard double room was exactly that, nothing offensive but... More

I have recently arranged a large business conference at this hotel, over 3 days. The hotel facilties are fantastic, all the rooms are modern and well equiped. The hotel restaurant offers lots of choice and we had a very enjoyable meal here. The hotel bar is well stocked and they even brought in special branded drinks to match the theming... More

My boyfriend and I attended a wedding at Cranage Hall and I must say it was brilliant. We stayed overnight and from check in to check out the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean with a good comfy bed. Working in the hotel industry myself I am quite picky when it comes to rooms but no... More

We stayed Saturday 7.1.12 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's more of a conference / wedding venue than a hotel but the rooms and the facilities are all very good. Spa facilities are excellent (nice and warm!) and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. One of our party had an injury (not the hotel's fault) and the staff were very... More

We stayed for a wedding in the hotel. The building appearance as you approach is lovely, staff seem slightly confused on front desk. Out of the 16 rooms we booked, only 3 were ready at 4.30, 2 hadn't been booked and one was the wrong size. When we finally got the rooms we were sent to find our own way... More

The room was nothing like the pictures on the website, it was very dated not the cleanest, the bathroom looked like it was from the 90's and was very small. On arrival found out that the restaurant was closed, the bar shut at 7 and the pool was only open until 4 because they had an event on, however the... More

I am so sorry you would not stay and attend the NYE Ball with all are other residents. Thats why the restaurant was closed. It is quite reasonable to expect a formal event in a hotel on NYE. We did offer you alternative dinning including room service. Your comments are very mis-leading, the bar stayed open until 3.00am. The pictures... More

This was to be my works Christmas party, we paid £39 for a meal, disco and bacon sandwich at midnight. There was no welcome drink, table novelties or chocolates as on a previous visit 2 years ago. The menu was restricted to 2 choices and the food was of poor quality. The disco played 'dance' music all night and the... More

Thank you for your review and sorry you did not enjoy your night. We clearly advertise two packages for xmas party nights. The year before you had chosen the higher priced package which included a welcome drink, bacon baps and upgraded entertainment. This year you chose to go on the cheaper disco party package. No excuse for the cold coffee... More

Only had a one night stay here as part of a Christmas function. Room was very good, very clean, good TV with Sky Sports, CBBC, and a few other channels. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the property. Large bed, table and chair, the usual shower in bathroom etc etc.. Reception staff were very good. Bar staff were not so great,... More
