This B&B is very comfortable but it best asset it the pub next door with friendly people, great beer and great food. A previous review about the owner is completely wrong, he's a nice friendly feller and the women who runs the pub and the b&b is great too.

We are on a canal holiday so this pub was very handy. Very clean, friendly with nice homely English food which was very tasty and very reasonable. Would definitely go back.

We stayed here recently for a night following a family party organised in the Pub next door. Woodchip wallpaper, artex, everyone shares the bathroom, wet/damp walls, no heating, lights that don't work (oh well! said the staff member), no evening meals(realised afterwards how lucky we were there), cheap furniture, cold water.
