We stayed at the county for two nights whilst visiting our son at Edinburgh Uni. The parking was a plus compared to Edinburgh which is very difficult to park. we took the bus into Edinburgh which was just outside and very frequent for 3.50 per day ticket. The room was alittle tired but the sheets etc spotless as was the... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedded room as a family, on the second floor. Through ‘Late Rooms’ we booked for £80 per night, which directly booked would have cost £98.25 per night. Although there is no car park at the hotel, we were able to park up nearby, within a few minutes wait. The bedding consisted of... More

Quite possibly the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. The room was shabby with dust on the pictures hanging on the wall, the hot water was not "hot", the bed linen was cheap and uncomfortable to sleep in, however, the worst part was the staff. We were ignored upon arrival by what looked like 3 staff (all female) at... More

Stayed in room 201 which looks like it has been recently decorated. Nice appointed room. The hotel sign light outside may affect light sleepers but it did not affect my stay. A plus that there is readily available free wi-fi, which is an annoyance when hotels charge. Only minor down point is that you have to rely on on street... More

I stayed here for 1 night. I booked the room through Trip Advisor and got it for 25% of the hotels advertised rate. It is located on the main street, which is undergoing improvement, opposite a pleasant church. I was allocated a room on the third floor overlooking the church and was at first worried about the clock that chimed... More

My partner and I stopped off at this hotel for a meal and drinks after a stay in Edinburgh. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard, in both the restaurant and bar area. Restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere with lovely music playing in the background. Choice of food on the menu was excellent, something to suit all... More

Stayed on a Saturday night, arrived mid afternoon, one downside is no hotel car park, only on street parking, however reception advised OK to park on single yellow line outside hotel as no wardens on a Saturday. Nice and comfy room with a good big bathroom and a decent hot working shower ( not electric one). Super breakfast with good... More
