Just returned from a Lochs and Glens Holiday at the Loch Awe Hotel. The Hotel is full of character, and the views down the Loch are fantastic! Kilchurn Castle is a lovely sight in the Sun, Rain or Mist! The Hotel room my friend and I shared was room 214, a large room with a double and single bed, a... More

We had a wonderful break at Loch Awe hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was good, especially breakfast, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The organisation was first class and whoever trains the staff is doing a marvellous job. The bar prices were surprisingly reasonable with a fantastic choice of... More

I came here, like most, with Lochs & Glens Holidays. I travelled alone and was very pleased to see that I didn't get charged a single room supplement for a change! I was in room 212, which had a lake view. The room was very small, and the floor in the bedroom and bathroom a little uneven for some reason,... More

Thank you Loch Awe Hotel and the staff at Loch Awe for a really great time. The views were fantastic not much snow around. Scenery was changing each day. Food was lovely and piping hot and the staff although most of them were from hungary and those regions went that extra mile. Our thanks also go to Brian Nicols and... More

What a lovely place. I couldn't stop looking at the changing scene which greeted me every time I looked out of the window! The view from the staircase and veranda is stunning! The staff were really great. They worked so hard to make us feel welcome. The hotel is run by Dutch but they did their best, wearing kilts and... More

Standards still very high, good food and a hotel full of character would highly recommend a visit. Coaching was undertaken by Ulsterbus which was first class. More

Have just returned from 5 day break with Loch and Glens Holidays. Stayed at the Loch Awe Hotel. The hotel was very busy with three separate coach parties. Despite this everything ran like clockwork. The team at the hotel are very well organised. They are very helpful and keen to make your stay a success. Phil who runs the entertainment... More

We stayed here in late Jan - and wow what a lovely place. Amazing location on the loch awe close to an old creepy church (the supposed burial place of Robert the Bruce's finger (or kneecap - we heard several versions!!) The rooms were cleans and functional - we had a large room with views over the loch in the... More
