Hotel chez charles is a splendid hotel. Picturesque high in the mountains of Lumio. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the view of the surrounding corsican mountains and the ocean below is inspiring to anyone. just a short ride away from the local capital city Calvi. newly renovated hotel, very modern, young staff, excellent restaurant (michelin rated!). rooms verny nice although pretty small. wonderful view over the bay, especially in the evening with marvellous sunset! nice but very small pool. it's possible to eat small dishes at the pool restaurant.

This was our last stop on our trip to Corsica. We wish we had more time to spend in Calvi and Hotel Chez Charles. The hotel was very nice, upgrading our room to a higher (quieter) floor with a great view across the bay.

Chez Charles has to be one of the top five hotels in Corsica. Joseph and his wife must be congratulated for their warm hospitality and the quality of the service and attention to details.
