First impression of Paleo Inn Hotel was excellent..and it just got better!. The hotel is set in a most beautiful area, surrounded by a variety of green trees and flowers, close to several bays and excellent restaurants The pool area is just lovely - benifiting from all day sun, the crystal clear pool, ample cumfy sunbeds, tables and sunshades. The... More

Paleo inn stay , 7th to 14th May 2012 . Read some of the reports before going to the Paleo Inn , but always reserve judgement untill I try it myself ! Don't believe some of the disparaging remarks made by other writers , as they are wide of the mark . The rooms at the Paleo Inn are very... More

Travelled with Thomson in May 2012. The rooms are basic but well kept and clean, we had no problems during our visit. All staff were friendly and a special mention to Spiros in the bar who helped to ensure that everyone was welcome. Thought we would skip breakfast because many reviews had been negative but decided on our 3rd morning... More

We stayed August 2011 for two weeks and had a lovely time. Booked through Thomson who possibly caused a few problems as I phoned and asked for air-con, balcony etc but think I was told what I wanted to hear. On arrival room on lower floor with no air-con but got moved after a few days and wasn't over unhappy... More

We visited in the September of 2010, a squalid scruffy little hotel. The bedrooms were in desperate need of redecoration, beige, beige, and beige. Breakfast a bit of a joke and the dining area is awash with wasps. The swimming pool was dirty, with a considerable quantity of bird excrement and inadequately chlorinated. Paleokastritsa itself though is a delightful resort,... More

Typical Greek accommodation, basic and clean. Thomson clasify this as a small and friendly hotel and we found this very true. Nice pool area, great location with amazing views (from certain rooms) Breakfast may be classed as continental, but it is not, however 1 euro will but you eggs cooked in a variety of ways, or if you prefer, cereal... The friendly, small Paleo Inn (it's not really an hotel) is basic even by Greek standards. Although the decor is very tired, it is clean with sheets & towels changed once during the week & the room cleaned every day except Sunday. It is exactly as the pictures show, no more, no less. There is a nice pool & surround... More

Paleokastritsa is a lovely part of Corfu with crystal clear water and some idyllic beaches which are only accessible by boat. The Paleo Inn is not so amazing - when booking we were expecting a double room and air conditioning, as advertised by Thomson. On arrival we had to fight for a double room, but it had no air conditioning... More

We stayed here in the late 80's and had a brilliant time so we thought it would be nice to re-visit. Big Mistake!! Apart from the addition of a swimming pool, everything else had gone downhill. Room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. After 5 days we had to ask for a change of towels and bed linen before... More

This was our 10th time staying in Paleokastritsa which we obviously love. Fantastic scenery and very friendly locals who become friends and keep you returning each year. We have stayed in various accommadation in Paleo (some very very basic self catering) and find the Paleo inn to be good value, basic but very clean accommadation. We have stayed there 4yrs... More
