During our travels we have never met more charming hosts then Helen and Nick, they really take it to the next level! We were traveling with our 1,5 year old son and we felt very welcome as a family. Really everything about this place is amazing. The Zanzibar room is like an African fairy tale, the garden is amazing, the... More

We booked a very very last minute stay at Zakspitaki - aka "Big Nick's" - in June and had the most wonderful time. Helen and Nick were fantastic hosts and provided just the right amount of information on how to spend our days on Paxos. Great recommendations, thank you. The best bit for me were the relaxing and delicious breakfasts.... More

We have just returned from a fantastic stay with Nick and Helen at their beautiful home in Paxos. We stayed in the Zanzibar room for the first 4 nights which is even nicer than the photos. The standard of the decor and all the work done on the property is excellent. You feel as though you are staying in a... More

Looking for a Greek island where we could escape from London for a few days we came across Paxos, and from Trip Advisor we choose Zakspitaki near Loggos. We certainly didn't regret our choice, Nick and Helen were wonderful hosts and the home cooked breakfasts really are as good as everyone says, each day bringing a different selection of tasty... After a stressful year, arriving at Helen and Nick's 'Summerhouse', tucked away at the back of their rambling garden felt like stepping straight into paradise. I loved my little shaded sitting area where, surrounded by roses, vines and gnarled olive trees, I sat looking out onto the sea. My bed was the most comfortable I had ever slept in, and... More

My husband and I cannot say enough about this little jewel -- Helen and Big Nick were consummate hosts, taking every detail into account for our June stay. From Big Nick meeting us at the Port upon our arrival, to Helen's amazing breakfasts each morning, this place was a true treat. We had the small separate room at the top... More

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Nick and Helens house in Paxos. We stayed in the converted barn in the garden which was superbly layed out for us and our 2 boys (aged 8 and 11). Breakfast was lovely, and Helen even sent us off everyday with freshly baked muffins, biscuits, and cakes as we headed off to the... More

My fiance and I had an incredible few days at this magical B and B. Its actually more like a brilliant boutique hotel which has stunning views and loads of character. After a long journey we were kindly picked up from the port by Helen then upgraded to a fantastic room which was filled with quirky and cool furniture. It... More

If you're looking for an idyllic spot that matches with all the images you've ever conjured up of Greek Islands - I mean azure seas, ancient gnarled olive trees, excellent traditional Greek fare etc etc - then Paxos couldn't be more perfect. And if you'd like your accommodation to be something a little different and less "predictable" than the norm... More

Zakspitaki was recommended to us by a friend when we were choosing somewhere to go for our honeymoon last month - she said it would be perfect and she was absolutely right. The brilliant reviews are spot on and I cannot agree more with them. For a start, Paxos is just beautiful and a wonderful place to holiday but combined... More
