We stayed at Asha's end of july 2011. What a fantastic place to be; great hotel, nice and small, right on the beach, love architecture, great food. Really, don't look any further. We stayed here with our 2 dayghters (17 & 18) and is was absolutely fabulous. John and Dominique are really very good and nice people with respect for... More

We were at Asha cottage for 3 days as part of our honeymoon. It was a wonderful 3 days. Both John and Dominique were the best hosts ever making us feel like family. The staff were ever so friendly and always willing to help. They told us the romantic air in Asha cottage was perfect for making babies. Boy, were... More

I stayed at Asha cottage for just 3 nights. Lovely setting - the room was nice - However I left with a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth when I realised how overpriced the whole experience was. The little touches you expect when you pay such prices were pretty non existant. The breakfast was like something you'd expect... More

Hello. What a pity you experienced Asha Cottage this way. We are very sorry. However, please allow me to say that I think you were looking for budget, low-cost accommodation since day one. In our initial email exchange you directly requested a discount on our prices, then free massage treatments when a discount was not possible, and finally free airport... More

We are a young couple, we spent few days at Asha a cottage and it was amazing: Wonderful setting, great rooms and food. We really appreciated their love for nature and environment. We definitely felt at home. We recommend this place, a small paradise! More

Ok, so we are writing a review in April 2012 on a holiday we took in October 2011. Why have we waited so long, difficult to say, but the fact that we are writing this rather than just letting it pass by is a recommendation in itself. Our family is two adults and two children (11 and 15), we arrived... More

Great setting and really nicely done but really poor service for the money. Breakfast was just a few pieces a fruit and juice from a carton. When we asked if we could have fresh we were told it was a la carte and we had to pay!! Kenya is full of fruit at very good prices so this just seemed... More

Hello and thank you for your review. Mostly, we are very surprised by your feedback as we were never approached during your stay with your concerns; we would have immediately made provision for you to receive whatever was requested. And you would NOT have been charged for fresh fruit juice at breakfast - if we had been informed of this... More

For the past two years we've escaped the winter at home, for two weeks of bliss at Asha Cottage, and we intend to return each year for more of this little paradise. After many years of travel to many different parts of the world, this is one of the very few places we've wished to revisit. I cannot think of... More

We had our honeymoon at Asha Cottage and I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The setting is beautiful, with its large open sitting area framing the breath taking sea view. Walk down the steps into the pool area, which is carefully positioned to protect you from the prying eyes of people on the beach. The rooms... More

My wife and I were fortunate to secure a last minute booking for 4 nights in February 2012. From our arrival and warm, personal greeting, complete with a smart salute from Suliman at the entrance, we knew we were somewhere very special. The place is quiet and intimate and ideal for those who prefer intimacy over activity. We were beautifully... More

We had a lovely time at Asha cottage,we spent 4 nights after a safari in Kenya and the room, the food, the staff and our hostess Dominique were all terrific..I will never forget the perfect dinners at the edge of their garden where the beach begins with the crabs racing around on the beach and the sound of the ocean...
