I can't recommend Es Castell enough to friends and family members. I'm a lover of small, independent hotels/inns with great food and this was...well...like a dream. Great service, lovely rooms, unbelievable attention to detail, wonderful dinners (thanks Lee!), amazing orchards to get lost in. A truly special place. More

Everything written in all the other very positive reviews turns out to be true and it would be hard to add much to that here : wonderful location, superbly run and pretty much faultless in every respect. This is a wonderful and secluded hotel where you can completely lose yourself in the surroundings and the silence. The service is attentive without being intrusive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the owner and his staff. We had a wonderful stay at Es Castell, if you want to explore Mallorca this is the perfect place to begin. The hotel is more like a friendly B&B, James, Paola, Lee and the rest of the staff are really top hosts and make you feel like home. Breakfast is good but maybe a bit more variation would take it...
