We rented a 1 bedroom cabin using the internet-only deal for 2 nights accommodation. Our cabin was cosy and comfortable, with its own kitchen, shower and toilet. The air-con was a bit of a roarer but you have other options like ceiling fans. Staff members were laid-back and friendly, and very helpful and patient with all our enquiries and requests.... More

If you are worried about this place, don't be. It is fine and the cabins are nicer than the Holiday Inn, which needs a renovation. More

Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bed cabin. Currently low season so it is almost empty and prices reasonable. Fantastic pool with noodles to use for kids. Ate at bistro first night - steaks were fine, no complaints. Cabins were clean, tidy, good kitchenette and full size fridge. We weren't expecting anything brilliant, just a place to get out of... Good Value Cabins & Facilities. I have stayed in every hotel in Kakadu over the past few years with the exception of the one in the South (near Pine Creek) of the park. My recommendations would be: 1. Camping! Yes Camping is best in Kadadu, even though the Rangers do make it quite restricted and keep you well away from... More

Stayed 2 nights in a cabin & it was clean & comfortable. The pool was nice & refreshing after a long hot day hiking & sightseeing. Ate 1st night at the poolside bistro. I thought it was ok (but obviously microwaved), my wife wasnt so happy with hers & was motivated to cook our own dinner 2nd night. Being wet... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, we value all feedback. It was dissappointing to read your meal was less than satisfactory. We get plenty of compliments from our bistro and during the quieter times of the year we have a constantly changing menu to provide a variety of options for our diners, which is all cooked... More

I worked at Kakadu Lodge for a period of three years and thoroughly enjoyed it, after being away for 5 years, I thought it was time to go back. Not much has changed, the place is still brilliant. Yes the cabins are looking a little old, but a little bit of work will bring them back to standard. I highly... More

Great campsite, with over 200 powered sites most of which are shaded which is very important in Kakadu - UV rating is typically 13 out of a maximum of 13 so the more shade you get the better! The sites bathrooms are numerous and very clean and their are also a number of BBQ areas. The site also offers laundry... More

We stayed 2 nights in the caravan park, after staying at Merl, which we also enjoyed. Although Merl has the real outback feel it was lovely to enjoy the luxury of lounging next to the pool for a couple of days and having power!. The van sites are better spaced than those at Cooinda and offer some privacy between sites.... More

We stayed in a studio cabin at Kakadu Lodge and was really impressed with the cabin! Very spacious and clean. There were just the two of us but the room was really for a family.
