A beautiful B&B, but even more important, Peter and Bobbie are the most wonderful B&B hosts ever! They make sure that you have everything you need and that your stay in the Nelson region while with them is as wonderful as it can be. For instance, we had a problem with our rental car -- so while we were spending... More

We loved our sojourn at Edenhouse. Peter and Bobbie were the perfect hosts at a wonderful dinner which remains one of the highlights of our month-long tour of Australasia. Everything is detail perfect with charm and effortless elegance. The accommodations were enormously comfortable and they did everything possible to make us feel welcome and at home. Oh, and we also... More

Our time at Edenhouse was magical. It is such a luxurious and serene place to stay. Peter and Bobbie were such attentive hosts and made us feel incredibly comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the food is wonderful. It was the perfect end to our vacation in New Zealand. The only regret you will have is that you will have... More

We arrived just before New Year's eve - a family of 5 - at Edenhouse and were so warmly welcomed by Peter & Bobbie Martin (and Annie the dog!), the owners of this absolutely delightful hidden gem (it is so much more intimate than a "hotel" and so much more than a "guest house"). The location is wonderful in the... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at Edenhouse. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and would have stayed longer if we had been able to. After a long 2-day sea kayaking adventure, Edenhouse was exactly what we needed. Bobbi & Peter were incredible hosts, sharing with us personal information, how they got started in the business, history of their... More

I came across this property through an internet search and only discovered afterwards that it made the Tatler list of best properties for 2010. We only stayed for one night as we were making our way across NZ and we have to say that we will need to come back to explore the Abel Tasmin region and enjoy the property... More

Wow. The food, the setting, the accommodations, the conversations. Did I mention the food. Driving up we thought: a farm, and we will be stuck here for two days. It was not a farm, but a garden, filled with beauty and charm. There was a main house and nearby cottage, ducks, and birds and flowers and scenery. And the proprietors... More

We had 4 nights at Edenhouse and could almost have wished for four weeks! It was an outstanding experience in a 5 week long series of wonderful New Zealand experiences. It is run as a really good English country house would be run and the hosts Peter and his wife, Bobbie have both lived and worked in Australia and England... More
