Stayed for 2 nights and I cannot praise the whole experience higher. Staff excellent, bed very comfortable, very clean, food very nice. Having breakfast looking out to sea with the mountains on both side. Brilliant. Enjoy it. More

Food was very good quality, good value and the service was superb, they couldn't do enough for you. Kids found it great too with good choices for them. I would recommend an early evening vists... Had lunch on Sunday past at The Whistledown and it was stunning - and reasonably priced. Our waiter was charming and made us feel special. This was my second time at Whistledown for eats and I really cannot fault it More

Hi, I had a meal with relatives in the bar/restaurant this afternoon and we all left feeling very disappointed not at the food but at the unfriendly staff. We all live locally and have gone for many years enjoying the food but today this was spoilt by two staff members. This ranged from facial gestures seen behind customers backs, no... More

I have eaten in the Whistledown several times but have never been a fan. I have never understood why it is so popular as I have always thought it was overpriced for the quality of the food. In my opinion the menu is too big for them to be able to produce quality, fresh food. After my last meal I... More
