I read all reviews from this website and Fodors. The reviews were very favorable and my experience was even better than my expectations. Fodors stated that Copamarina's beach sand was "gummy". I completely disagree with Fodors on the sand, but agree with their recommendation as a "top choice". The sand was consistent with beach sand formed from the limestone and... more

We have been coming to the Copamarina for over 12 years. We have found the staff to always be friendly and helpful -- they remember us each year and welcome us. On the first day when I went for towels at the gift shop, the woman remembered me and that I liked to snorkel. She mentioned that there was a... more

We are not used to writing reviews about places we stay, but we thought it would be helpful for other tourists to read this so they can re-consider there bookings with this "hotel more like a hostel." We had a reservation booked at Copamarna for a week after staying 3 nights at the Westin Rio Mar. We had to pack... more

Dear "Fred2445": We were unhappy to read your review, and we are very sorry that your experience at Copamarina was unsatisfactory. I would like to know some specifics about what your problems and issues were, since your review did not enumerate them. I checked all of the guest logs and do not have a record of any complaints during your...

We booked three rooms for my wife and I plus our children and their significant others based partly on recommendations from folks on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Located far away from the "madding crowd" of San Juan, the Copamarina is located on the sunny and dry southwest part of Puerto Rico. The rooms were great, the restaurants on the... more

Greetings, fellow travelers. I’ve read through the wide-ranging reviews for this property and thought I would add my perspective. My husband I just returned from a very enjoyable vacation in Puerto Rico, spending one night in Ponce, one night in San Juan, and three nights at the Copamarina at Guánica. Our experience at the Copamarina was by far the best... more

We recently spent 4 nights at the Copamarina. We have 2 teenagers that loved the destination as much as we did. It is a beautiful location, the food is wonderful, and the activities made me feel like I was reliving the best of summer camp experiences. The resort offers several plans but we opted for the all inclusive option. We... more

Wonderful beach in a quiet and secluded area. Extreemly helpful front desk staff. They even helped us arrange transportation to and from the hotel which is incredibly helpful if you find yourself without a car in PR. The food was fantastic too. Can't wait to visit again. more

First I want to say thank you to all of the staff for their courtesy and kind attention. We where there for our 22nd anniversary and our first time honeymoon. And it was a nice experience for my husband being that it was a surprise for him by my part. The night of our anniversary we went down for dinner... more

I go down to PR on business about twice a year and I have stayed at several large hotels and resorts and I think I have settled on the Copamarina as my future "permanent" location. The place is very pleasantly manicured and quiet. Even when they are busy and there is a lot of activity, the place is sufficiently large... more
