Just got back from a two niight stay at the Black Horse. It was in an excellent location, the breakfast was 10/10 and the staff were very freindly. i would definetly stay there again. more

We spent an enjoyable 3 night break at the Black Horse over the New Year period. George, the new landlord, is an extremely nice chap - doesn't intrude, but is always on hand for assistance if needed. Grassington is a lovely place to stay and The Black Horse Hotel was our chosen place of stay and it couldnt have been better, the rooms were lovely, the new manager was brilliant and great with all our family and we generally had a great time in October 2008, will def return in the future. more

Booked this stay via internet for my husband believing hotel in Thame Oxfordshire. Spoke to owner on phone to make substantial deposit. Only found out mistake when husband arrived in uk. Owner does not return phone calls- internet address has been changed. Would advise care when dealing here. more
