charming place, middle of nowhere, quiet, close to Bannegon, beautifull castle.
but so POOR service.
restaurant is closed since august. no eating 10 km around
unfriendly staff, rooms unprepared
breakfast is a pity.
used to be a highly recommended place for decades, but rumors say owner is pulling out. no wonder...

We have stayed here twice travelling south. It's in an area with few hotels. Lovely grounds and a nice pool. Staff very friendly. Breakfast overpriced.
The restaurant is in the old watermill which is charming and interesting - have a look upstairs. Both set menus very good value but don't seem to change. Service good and fair wine list.
