This is a big thank you to all the staff at the Limes. We stayed on the 24th March for my sons engagement. The rooms are amazing and the breakfast excellent. Maria and her staff were so friendly and catered for our large party. I would recommend the Limes for a weekend break or even a weeks stay! Maldon is...

I had a bit of an accommodation emergency and ended up booking The Limes quite late. Regardless of that the owner was happy to meet me after 2030 hrs and take the booking.
He was very friendly and polite which complemented the very high standard of the room and hotel. I had booked and payed for a single room but...

We stayed overnight in room 15 in the Annexe.
Room and en suite perfect except the very bright green emergency light, would reccomend an eye mask if you have problems sleeping in a bright room.
Breakfast good, friendly staff, all round excellent.

Stayed Saturday night in an annex room. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, first class shower, nice homely soft furnishings. Lovely breakfast - home made marmalade and plum jam was a treat with the ample toast ! We had friends who stayed in the main house right on the front road but they didn't find the traffic too noisy at...

(they even gave part of the fridge to a couple with a young baby to keep her food in!) A definite must to stay for a...

The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of lovely finishing touches. Breakfast is excellent with a nice selection of homemade jams and marmalades. I have also stayed in the first annex and the room...

We stayed here for one night in September 2011 and thought it was lovely. We had a family room in the attic of the main building, which had a double bed for us, a single for our daughter and a cot for our baby son. We were met on arrival by a very helpful gentleman who also directed us to...

We stayed here last Friday after a horrible drive from Holyhead. The room décor was great and I especially liked the extra touches of the Sherry. The breakfast too was impressive and tasted great. When building work is finished this should be a great B&B.

We stayed one night in room 4 - which first floor at the front -BUT the room above is a Family Room.We were woken at 5.45 in the morning by the young children running around the room - it sounded as though there were a herd of elephants above us.At 7.00 am - I ACTUALLY went and complained to the...
