Didn't stay at the hotel so cannot comment on rooms etc. We stayed in Kamares and took a trip to Plaitis Yialos to see what the other resorts and hotels were like for a future vist. Went into this hotel to try to get a drink and to ask about prices etc. As soon as I asked for a drink... more
Hotel Platys Gialos has a specific policy for its services. Keep the privacy of its residents and do not offer services (like food,drink,facilities of the hotel-beach,water sports etc). These services are not available to people that they are not residents of the hotel. I am sorry for any inconvience caused.
The location of this hotel is outstanding - it is built right on the nicest beach of the island of Sifnos. Furthermore there are many pleasant restaurants along the beach a well as a mini-market and a newspaper shop. The hotel was built over 40 years ago, and it shows its age. I spent 6 days with a friend there but it is not what I expected fron a hotel rated 4*.... It is VERY expensive comparing to what it offers (we payed €170 per night)..
