It seemed like the best of a bad lot and we were not surprised as the beds were like planks and no-one could speak English.
More like a 2 star than a 4 star.
The hot springs were not part of the hotel but a separate complex with a hefty entrance fee.

Definitely pricey for what we received, but there aren't many options in Emeishan that will meet international standards.
The hard bed was the worse - even using China's standards. It was pretty much a box spring with covers over it, we could feel the springs underneath us. We were in a non-smoking room, but unfortunately smoke still seeped into our...
