Family trips are always fun.. but for me this trip was special ... it was a family trip after 8 long years....I had left my job.. was looking out for a nice vacation ... and my stay in ranikhet did it all for me. I have been to Trishul Lodge twice (with friends, and with family), and in both occasions booked the entire cottage. Finding a way to Trishul Lodge may be tough (but only for the first time), the second time you'll remember this place by heart. The cottage is beautifully done, and the staff extremely courteous. Trishul lodge is NOWHERE close to what the website of Asian adventures shows!! Its horribly located amidst many construction sites in adjoining plots. Cartainly not serene , calam and peaceful by ANY standards.
The lodge is very tiny and leaves no privacy if travelling / staying with multiple families sharing the lodge .
