cc Africa and Taj hotels are striving to provide a level of service similar to their African lodges. While some aspects hit the mark there are a few glitches. The lodge grounds/dining/reception areas /pool and rooms are beautifully and luxuriously appointed. Having travelled through Tanzania with CC Africa , which was excellent, I booked this lodge and the new lodge in Kanha (apparently still unfinished) The lodge looks lovely however the heating in our hut was not working (no fun in the very cold nights) moreover it did not seem to discourage the large rat which visited us in the night.... more

Hello, I stayed at mahua kothi for 4 nights, just returned yesterday.... The place is terrific.... loved it......was lucky sighting tigers, saw 10 ( both the dominant males of the park, a adult 3 year old male cub, 2 tigresses and 4 cubs)....my guide himanshu was great and tried his best to spot the tigers, overall a fabulous experience...Sonali more
