This is more like a homestay than a full fledged hotel. The caretake, cleaning staff and cook take care of this place. It's not a plush property, but is relatively neat and clean.It's located 11 km ahead of Ranikhet on the road to Kausani, and so, there are not too many people or shops nearby.
Food needs to be ordered beforehand so that any groceries that may not be available in house can be brought from Ranikhet. So, if you fancy that steaming bowl of chicken curry with some pearl white steamed rice, let the staff know well in advance.
The property does not have many rooms, and that adds to the fact that you can relax with a book in hand without being disturbed frequently. However, as it is band on the highway, you do get the noise of the traffic...which is bearable.
