Pros : A nice little garden Cons : No restaurant in this hotel. Other restaurants are a bit far. When we reached, there, it was late afternoon and we were hungry. So we ordered lunch. They made us a meal which tasted awful. They charge extra for a child, but provide only a mattress, not a cot Hot water is... More

I visited Mount Abu with my Hubby & inlaws, to celebrate my first anniversary We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I had booked a family room (well they have only 1 family room) that too NON A/C... rediculous..... before entering the hotel on the door step the guy who bragged "I AM THE MANAGER" asked us to pay... "hot water " for showers is only available between 0800 and 0900 says the large notice which greets you in reception. However , watching the lad feeding tiny twigs onto a smoky fire lit beneath a metal drum at the far end of of an extremely long building with a snaggle of external pipes for plumbing I doubted that there... I stayed at Rising Sun Retreat in the last week of Dec 2009. The best part about this hotel is its location & kind of natural plants & exotic vegetations they have. It is the first hotel when you just enter Mt Abu check post. Though Nakki lake is another 3-4 minutes drive away. It is very natural with lovely... More

Dont even think of staying over there... Rooms are horrible with very bad room service. There is no phone in the room.. you need to go searching for room boy and ask for things...And if you plan to have luch/dinner/breakfast.. you need to informt them at least 4 hrs in advance.. they dont have a reasturant ...so think before you... An Excellent Garden Property...... A decent place to stay for Budget travellers, Staff very co-operative - We checked-in at 2330 Hrs & even at that time the staff was happy to help even for smallest things. Room Service is good... but the restaurant or food is on order basis only. The overall services were good enough & beyond the expectations... More

Apart from the fact this place is a good walk from the main town and lake (30mins) which gets a bit much as there is nothing here this hotel is. Rooms are not kept to a high standard and for India they are VERY overpriced, they are basically $8 rooms but charged at $20. Like previous post, sinks leak, only... More

It is a pathetic place to stay. We paid Rs. 1800/- per day for 2 nights stay. We pulled our hair moment we stepped in. The rooms are stinky and with age-old furniture. The site states that there is a restraunt but there is none. Food is provided on request in rooms. The hot water is only for a limited... More
